The Ninth Sister, also known as Masana Tide, was a Dowutin female who served as an Inquisitor in the Galactic Empire. She was once a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 but fell to the dark side and joined the Inquisitorius, becoming a master of hunting down remaining Jedi and Force-sensitive individuals.
Brutish and physically imposing due to her species, the Ninth Sister relied on her strength and ruthlessness in combat. She suffered significant injuries that necessitated cybernetic enhancements, further fueling her rage and resentment towards the Jedi Order. Her bulky frame was often described as grotesque.
The Ninth Sister participated in numerous hunts for Jedi survivors, often working alongside other Inquisitors. She was known for her relentless pursuit and her ability to exploit her opponents' weaknesses. She possessed the unique ability to sense deep-seated fears and insecurities, which she weaponized in interrogations and combat.
Eventually, the Ninth Sister met her end during a confrontation with the former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis. After several encounters, Kestis successfully defeated her, leading to her death.
